Why Public Student Art?
Public student art enables students to engage with their campus community.
As our project topic evolved and developed, the topic of public student art often arose. Initially hoping to investigate how student art is recognized, we noticed how public student art has been used at the University of the Pacific by students to engage with the campus community. Public student art facilitated Pacific students to express their dissatisfaction during the #NoMa'amPam movement, Promotion of Greek life, and numerous other expressive uses.

"You need to not only focus on a small audience but a wide variety to connect to people because that's what we want–and for people to walk by it and connect." |

"Everyone can make art...""I wanted to be some change in Stockton, I wanted to show that you could do it. So, I found a way to go to [the University of the] Pacific."
